Rhinoplasty / Nose Surgery
Your nose should be the center of your face, not the center of attention. If you’d like to change a family trait or simply improve your breathing, rhinoplasty can help. We are the rhinoplasty experts – specialists in all types of nasal surgery.

Rhinoplasty, or surgery to reshape the nose, is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures among both men and women. The shape and size of the nose are inherited from our family and develop as we grow to maturity.

Sometimes the growth of the nose does not correspond with the rest of our facial proportion. This may mean that the nose lacks the appropriate projection to fit with our chin and forehead; or perhaps it projects too much. The tip may be too broad or curve to one side.

These natural characteristics can be changed by rhinoplasty, a surgery which involves removing, reshaping and/or reconstructing cartilage and bone in the nose.

Because the nose is one of the most defining characteristics of the face, a slight alteration can greatly improve one's appearance offering greater confidence and self-esteem.

Rhinoplasty can reduce or increase the size of your nose, change the shape of the tip or the bridge, narrow the span of the nostrils, or change the angle between your nose and your upper lip. It may also correct a birth defect or injury or help relieve some breathing problems.

If you have nasal obstruction, rhinoplasty along with septoplasty may be needed to give you maximal benefit. If you are considering surgery to improve your breathing, such as septoplasty, and have considered changing your nasal appearance, you owe it to yourself to investigate the possibilities with a consultation.

Before deciding on rhinoplasty, inquire if any additional surgery might be recommended to enhance the appearance of your face. Many patients have chin implants or other facial augmentations combined with rhinoplasty to create a better balance of features. If you have had nasal surgery already, then revision rhinoplasty, a technically difficult surgical procedure designed to repair and reconstruct the nasal tissues may be indicated.

It is important to discuss your goals with an experienced surgeon who specializes in facial cosmetic surgery. During your initial consultation appointment, Dr. Branham will discuss your expectations and evaluate your individual needs for the best outcome for you.
